Our Earth we should take care of it

Hello everyone
It's summer in New York, I'm going to the beach today and dying to get away from the city. I just came back from Mexico city and I was blown away by the pollution that was making me so sick. It was beyond "having a cold".

So pollution is wind blown chemicals that even makes the trees dye. Bacterias are easily spread with this toxic pollution cloud 61 people dyed so far. I'm happy I'm alive.

This is what I read: If Mexico City don't do anything about this the temperature will be warmer with 3 degrees... Mother nature is saying no, we should listen.

Being there and see all of this and the White powdery cloud that was over the city every morning and night and how I felt made me think "what are we human beings doing with our world". Is this how I want the planet to be for the next generation, my children??? NO.

So I will stop buying plastic water bottles and buy a water cleaner instead. And living in NY city is polluted as well so a air cleaner would be something to consider as well.

I HAVE NEVER MISSED THE NATURE THIS MUCH BEFORE.

Raw every other week...

Hello food and fashion lovers.....

Being raw is not easy when working as a hair and make-up artist and get greasy, fried cater food ever day.... Hmm...I just eat the salads and the over cooked carrots. That is how

close I can

get to raw on weekdays. So I call my diet "raw every other week". The weeks when I'm not working it's raw.

I travel often in my work and then it's hard again, going to new countries I never been before and there food culture. But i figured that I can make my own trail mix and bring with me and a salad to eat on the plane and so I did. Goji berries, almonds, inca berries, raw cacao and cashews great for a couple of days "on the road" then I can always find a carrot somewhere...

As a make up artist I have tried all different types of skin care. For my skin I can put on anything from body lotion, olive oil or nothing, my skin is really good. But now I have found something that feels so good for my skin and also I know exactly what I put on my skin. Bee Yummy skin food. It's bee pollen, honey and oil. Tings I can eat and who would not like to eat there skin care..... Anyway, skin food is a great cream. Really recommend this skinfood.

So you can make your own skin care at home with avocado, olive oil, cucumber and honey I'm not joking I think it really works. I will try and then I will let you know.

WATER like everybody already knows is very good for the skin. I drink at least 2 1/2 big bottles every day. The body is made of 75% water and the brain 85% so that makes me realize how much water I need.

Today this rainy Wednesday I had a quick lunch at Bonobos. No people this time but still so tasty.

Till then

Successful life is my new blog before I had one called Blondie it was about food, health, and life styles just like this one.

This Easter weekend I would recommend to take a walk this sun shiny day from the Lower east side, if that's where you live and visit Candle Cafe 1307 Third avenue between 74th and 75th street. It's a lovely place to have lunch, dinner, or just go for a juice. I really love there Farmers Market Entrees.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money for a Easter brunch today I highly recommend Bonobos 18 east 23rd street. Lovely place lots of light with very nice staff mostly guys and maybe that's why I love this place. I just go for a Young Thai coconut Water or buy a salad to go with a scoop of organic sesame-almond hummus, really good and raw.

My absolute favorite place is Earth Matters 177 Ludlow street between Houston and Stanton. Great for food shopping, lunch, dinner, juice or snack. Mixed crowed and staff are the bes. My favorite juice that is beet-carrot-garlic-maca juice lovely and gives me energy. I love this place and there L.E.S crowd always good conversations with good friends. EM has Super Foods as well that I'm totally in to. Super foods fills the gaps your food can not fill. Gives you all nutrients that you ever need, it gives you a feeling of well being, mental and physical energy and supports your sexual function. All the good things.

Maca is a Super food I put raw maca powder in my morning smoothie. It gives me mental clarity and focus (I could need some of that), peak the sexual function, physical energy and other goodies. Maca is a off white root grows high in South America. EM has the Maca Powder to buy and bring home or just order a juice or smoothie to go r stay.

Another Super food is Goji, berry-Happy barry, the truly wonder food.
Lovely little red berry that are sweat in taste. Strengthens the immune system, increase energy, gives a sense of well being and optimism, packed with antioxidants, 18 g of protein, more beta carotene then a carrot, more iron then spinach and 500 times more c vitamin the one orange. It has a anti aging effect on humans. I eat this berry daily for breakfast, snack or in my salads or smoothie. I feel happy and young.

Well fashion people I will get out now for my daily exercise. Right now it's running out side wonderful as it is in the beginning of spring in NYC to see people running and smiling and stretching and talking about what there will do this day. I see many Earth Matters young guys running and later I meet them ordering a smoothie or juice. Lovely life as it should be.

Slow down is another lifestyle that is absolutely for New Yorkers to consider. It's just finding your time to have a free space for just you.
